The UK’s first fully bioavailable, effective CBD tea - Doing CBD differently
We launched the UK’s first effective CBD infused tea, bringing together an organic, caffeine-free blend with 3MG of 100% bioavailable, full-spectrum CBD in every tea bag. After a host of CBD products have launched in the last year in water, soft drinks, gummies, chewing gum and more, we’re keen to use our expertise to launch something effective and cut through the noise. From a brand that claims to develop teas designed to do more, we wanted to make sure our CBD line was no different.
What is CBD?
CBD is short for Cannabidiol and is derived from the cannabis plant. Many different compounds come from the plant but the best known are THC and CBD. THC is the psychoactive compound responsible for the narcotic effect know from consuming cannabis - the effect of getting ’high’. CBD, however, is a non-psychoactive substance and while carrying many therapeutic benefits, does not contain the ‘high’ feeling. CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system naturally occurring in your body and responsible for keeping you in balance.
Why is CBD so popular?
Anxiety, insomnia, pain, bad sleep - CBD has been used for a variety of treatments and has become more and more popular due to the effects it has on many people. These effects and benefits are well known and contribute to the wild popularity of CBD products. However, we know that CBD is a young product in a young industry. There are very little clinical tests and trials conducted and CBD is a personal experience, while one person may have a targeted benefit, there is no guarantee another will experience the same.

While there are many reported benefits of CBD, in its usual form of oil it can be a harsh taste and for that reason, many people can struggle to take it regularly. Taking this in a tea form can eradicate the harsh taste, but also allow CBD to be part of a familiar routine and so brings you the benefits of the substance in a way that is familiar and comforting. Many people take CBD to help reduce anxiety and stress and so a warming cup of tea is the perfect vehicle to do that through.
